Amazon is planning its first physical store in Louisville, according to Louisville Business First. The e-commerce giant filed a permit last week for a store in Oxmoor Center. Amazon’s website said every product in 4-star stores, which should be, is rated 4 stars and above by customers, a top seller, or new and trending on Amazon.com. The company’s website shows that a 4-star store is coming soon to Lexington, Kentucky as well as Fritz Farm Summit. The new storefront isn’t Amazon’s only project within the city limits. The company is building a last-mile facility in Louisville at 1231 Durrett Lane, off Preston Highway. Louisville-based Poe Cos is expanding the 142,000 square foot office and warehouse. The company’s website shows that a 4-star store will soon be available in Lexington, Ky., as well as the Summit at Fritz Farm.
