Boy, 14, found shot dead in Park Hill neighborhood taken to hospital, LMPD says

A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being shot Friday night, Louisville Metro Police said. Hill District. It’s right next to St. Louis Park. According to a statement from the LMPD, the boy was alert and conscious when he was taken to UofL Hospital with ‘non-life threatening injuries’. Detectives said they are still working to determine where the teenage boy was shot. The 2nd Division is handling the investigation into the shooting. No arrests were made during the shooting.

A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital after being shot Friday night, Louisville Metro Police said.

The shooting was reported before 8 p.m. when officers were notified of gunshots in the 22nd Street and St. Louis area in the Park Hill neighborhood. It’s right next to St. Louis Park.

According to a statement from the LMPD, the boy was alert and conscious when he was taken to UofL Hospital with ‘non-life threatening injuries’.

Detectives said they are still working to determine where the teenager was shot. The 2nd Division is handling the investigation into the shooting.

No arrests were made during the shooting.
