A “Save Super Elan” page, gofundme has been set up to help pay medical bills, the family is posting updates on Elan on the page.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A 4-year-old Hillview boy who was gunned down last week remains in hospital.
The mother told Hayley Minogue of WHAS11 on Monday that doctors said Elan was making good progress.
Elan’s mom gave us permission to use the photos and his name.
According to Hillview Police, Elan was found shot dead, his mother injured and the suspected gunman dead from a self-inflicted gunshot after officers responded to a cross-call on Wednesday, December 23.

On Christmas Day, he surprised the family by squeezing their fingers and making movements when he hears familiar voices, the post states.
On Saturday the family posted, there was no change in Elan. He has no movement on the right side of his body. He needs a respirator to breathe and has not woken up yet.
On Sunday January 3, the family announced that Elan’s ventilator had been removed and he was breathing almost on his own. They say they are grateful for the support of the community.
