Dermot Kennedy has shared his new single “Something To Someone”. The song marks her first release since her UK Top 20 hit, “Better days,” which came out last July.
In a statement on the song, Kennedy elaborated on the meaning of the song, saying it’s “to be something for someone. To love and be loved back. What a comforting thought it is to know that no matter what you’re going through, no matter how lonely the world may seem, you’re always on someone’s mind. That’s the only thing. I want this song to remind everyone who hears it that they are loved.
Along with unveiling the new track, Kennedy is planning a massive headlining world tour, which kicks off May 16 in Fortitude Valley, Australia. The long-running series also includes supporting dates for Shawn Mendes on the first leg of the pop star’s North American tour.
