Kentucky high school students give pair of Air Jordans to PA American history teacher on final exam day

AP US history teacher Kyler Holbrook once told his class he was obsessed with Air Jordans, so on final exam day his students surprised him with a pair of Space Jam 11.

“It’s rare to see a teacher who honestly and sincerely cares about his students and works to relate to them and act like a friend, especially with all the added stress this year with COVID,” Griffin Morris, a student in the class from Holbrook to Conner High School in Ky., told Stephanie Weaver with FOX TV stations.

“We had all come to love him as a teacher and decided to show him we felt that way. The decision to do something was unanimous.”

“Definitely one of the best times of my school life seeing him open that shoebox,” Morris said. “This experience really taught me to be generous and selfless brings out a feeling unmatched by anything else. I wouldn’t trade this moment of offering the shoes to Mr. Holbrook for anything.”
