LEXINGTON, Ky. — The No. 5 Kentucky men’s soccer team (4-0-0) travels to Tulsa, Okla., for its first test drive of the 2022 campaign Sunday night. The Wildcats take on the No. 20 Golden Hurricanes (3-0-0) at Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium for a game at 8 p.m. ET.
With home wins over the University of Illinois in Chicago, Seattle University, Belmont and Louisville at the Wendell Football Complex and Vickie Bell in Lexington, the Cats will face the first away Test this season, and he will face a team ranked in the top-20.
Throughout the UK’s successful home spell to open the season, the program recorded six different goalscorers, three shutouts and 69 shots including 30 on goal in four matches.
Historically, Kentucky holds a 7-6-2 series lead against Tulsa, with the last contest between the programs taking place in Lexington in 2019 as Kentucky emerged victorious with a 2-0 victory over the Golden Hurricanes.
The Wildcats return to The Bell next Friday for their first Sun Belt conference game against Marshall University.
