American Airlines flights from SDF to BOS will begin in June 2022 with tickets going on sale Monday, December 20.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — If you fancy a trip to Boston next year, you’ll soon have a new way to get there. Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) announced Thursday that American Airlines will offer nonstop flight from Louisville to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in June 2022.
This will be the 37th non-stop destination offered by SDF.
“Boston is our busiest route and largest underserved market to date,” said Dan Mann, executive director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority.
According to a statement from the airport, the new service will provide more connectivity for industries like healthcare and technology, as well as more opportunities to travel between Louisville and New England.
“This is another boost for our resurgent economic momentum, tourism industry and Bourbonism scene, and great news for residents of Louisville and Boston looking for a great city to visit with a short flight,” Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer said.
Tickets for the new flights will go on sale December 20, 2021 on AA.com. Flights will begin taking off on June 9, 2022.
