Keeping track of famous faces you might encounter in Louisville during Kentucky Derby week? Here is another person to add to your list. Fresh off NBC’s Olympic coverage in Beijing, sportscaster Rebecca Lowe heads to Louisville for the 148th Kentucky Derby.
Lowe will host Premier League Mornings and Premier League Live on May 7 alongside analysts Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard from the paddock at the legendary Churchill Downs circuit.
Next week’s trip to Churchill Downs marks the continuation of live broadcasts from NBC Sports’ Premier League studio which spotlight iconic sporting venues. The team broadcast from multiple locations, including the Los Angeles Coliseum, SoFi Stadium and more.
On Derby Day, the team will wrap up its live tours from the site of the 148th Kentucky Derby with coverage beginning Saturday morning. Lowe, who was part of NBC Sports’ 2019 Kentucky Derby team, will host next week’s “Run for the Roses” coverage following Premier League games.
Derby Day Premier League coverage begins with Premier League Mornings at 9am on USA Network. Kentucky Derby coverage on May 7 begins with Kentucky Derby Prep at noon on USA Network. NBC Sports’ live five-hour Kentucky Derby Day broadcast begins at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on NBC and Peacock.
