UK Athletics launches new website and mobile app – UK Athletics

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of Kentucky Department of Athletics, in conjunction with JMI Sports and WMT Digital, has unveiled its new website and mobile app.

The new and improved version of features a mobile-friendly design and maintains the same look on mobile and desktop. The new official UK Athletics app, where season ticket holders will access their mobile tickets, has several new features for users to take advantage of.

The new UK Athletics mobile app is designed to provide the best possible user experience, especially on matchdays. In addition to accessing mobile tickets, fans will be able to use a number of other features to enhance their experience. Fans who can’t attend games will be able to be part of the matchday excitement through the app.

The new site and the official UK Athletics app have also been designed for the BBNIL era. Each team’s roster page along with student-athlete biographies feature a media-rich breakdown of each athlete’s background and story, in addition to easy access to student-athlete social media handles, helping to improve opportunities and brand visibility.

The one-stop-shop for the BBNIL era is, the online home for the latest updates, information and resources regarding the NIL space.

“We are very pleased that the Big Blue Nation is seeing our new website and mobile app,” said Tim Letcher, UK Athletics website coordinator. “The mobile-friendly design of these two products will enhance and expand our coverage of all 23 UK college sports.”

JMI Sports has partnered with WMT to provide the digital offerings for UK Athletics.

WMT’s platform will help UK Athletics tell their own stories, according to the company’s founder.

The website and mobile app will continue to roll out more features in the coming months. A number of them will be designed to give users a personalized experience.

The new UK Athletics website retains the same web address, and the mobile app can be found on iTunes or the Google Play store by searching for ‘UK Athletics’. Current iPhone users only need to install an update to see the new app. Android users will need to delete the current version of the UK Athletics app and download the new app from the Play Store.
