Lexington, Ky. – Wilton Hope Fuller, 88, husband of 62, of the late Shirley Isabelle Walker, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in Athens, GA. Born December 28, 1932 in Hampton, Virginia, to the late Harvey and Fannie Fuller. Wilton served six years in the United States Army. He taught in Fayette County for 30 years before retiring. It was the principle associated with Tates Creek High School. He then worked for the Diocese of Lexington for 10 years. Wilton was a huge Kentucky fan and his hobby was baking. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Proffitt; three sons, David (Mary Lynn) Fuller, Daniel (Cheryl) Fuller and Matthew (Kristin) Fuller. ; seven grandchildren, John Burke Fuller, Patrick Fuller, Zachary Fuller, Daniel Fuller, Jeffrey Fuller, Nicholas Fuller and Isaac Proffitt; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Fuller and Maxton Fuller; and special friends, Barb and Fran Levy. Wilton is predeceased by his wife, his parents and his 5 siblings. A 12:00 p.m. service will be held Tuesday, December 14 at the Newman Catholic Center in Saint-Esprit Parish, 320 Rose Ln, Lexington, KY 40508. Visitations will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg, Rd. La family ask everyone to wear a mask and please be responsible. A request made directly by Wilton, “PLEASE, NO FLOWERS”. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested from Wolf Run Wildlife, 499 Bob-O-Link Suite # 3, Lexington, KY 40503.
